La Bufadora Diving and Camping Trip, departing Friday Nov. 25-27 2016

SCHEDULE:

Friday – November 25: 8 am depart San Diego and head south for FUN!

• Set up camp, eat lunch, and drive to Camp Kennedy for optional shore dives!
• Rest of the day – relax or shop in La Bufadora and enjoy the fabulous sunset!!!

Saturday – November 26 : 9 am – Load up the dive Panga and head out for 2-dives.
                                         7 pm to El Gordos for diner

Sunday – November 27 Same dives as Saturday, break camp after diving, and then head north.
                                      Stop at a winery in Guadalupe Valley?


COST:

• Car - La Bufadora is about 100 miles south of the border.  
• Gasoline - Plan on driving 300 miles on this adventure including the side trips.
• Insurance - Ranging from $30-$60 for the weekend depending on the value of your car.  One place to check for insurance is http://www.bajabound.com/
• Carpooling and caravanning will be encouraged. 

LODGING:

• No reservations required to camp at La Bufadora $10/night/two people/car 
• This is the most economical option and we have fun telling Diving Tall Tales around the campfire. 

FOOD: There are many food places in the town to choose from!

• A group meal Friday night will be provided by me, the trip leader aka great world renowned chef! 
• Or bring your own, cook at the camp or eat in La Bufadora (2-min. walk) 
• Most restaurants close after dark in La Bufadora when the tourist busses leave.
• Local restaurants cost $5 and up, tourist restaurants cost $9 and up.

OTHER FEES:

• Boat Fees – $40.00 for a two dive trip +$5 tip.  We will be using the boats Saturday and Sunday
• Air Fills – Bring 2-3 full tanks, Air fills to 3500 psi are $5.00 per fill at Dale’s Dive Shop.

COST SUMMARY:

• If your car is worth $15,000.00 and you get 25MPH, your transportation costs will be approx $100/2 people.
• Your camping cost will be $10 each assuming 2-people/car/two nights.  
• Cooking stoves will be provided.
• If you dive all six dives, and bring two tanks, your diving cost will be $100.00 inclusive.
